Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your delegate in the Virginia General Assembly. It is an honor and a privilege to represent the citizens of the 16th District. Since my first election, I have traveled hundreds of miles through our beautiful countryside and I have met some wonderful people in many venues. The breakfasts, fairs, parades, stews and other events I have attended have afforded me the opportunity to speak with so many fine, hard-working and productive citizens of our area.

I’ve heard your voices from Hurt to Stanleytown and all areas in between. Your opinions matter to me and as your representative, I have tried extremely hard to respond to your needs. As I’ve often said, “We may not always agree, but your voice matters to me.” If there is a constituent concern that you would like to talk about, please don’t hesitate to contact me. As you know, I firmly believe in “Leadership through Listening.”
